November Wishlist

Welcome to this new (hopefully monthly) series! Just a collection of my online window shopping, things that catch my eye for myself and Charlotte. November's wishlist is focused around warmth and autumnal colours and patterns. I'm very excited for Christmas, but I don't want to let Autumn slip away from me amongst all the festive anticipation.

The first items on my list are this romper suits for Charlotte. As adorable as baby dresses are, Charlotte just does not have time for them. They get in the way of her exploration and her little feet are constantly getting tangled up in the hems. So rompers are a great way of having full body warmth for her but without restricting her movement.

Next up are some things for me. My aim for this is to try and mirror the items I've picked for Charlotte in some way, be it in pattern, style or actual item of clothing. As some of Charlotte's items can be used as pyjamas, I've included some loungewear in my own picks. Let's be honest, Autumn is the perfect time of year to relax in your pyjamas with a hot cup of tea.

As I'm currently at home looking after my daughter, I don't have a lot of money coming in so I won't be purchasing all of these items, but hopefully I'll be able to buy at least one thing for each of us. Until then, they can just live here in my online window shop!

Charlotte's First Halloween

We didn't do much this for Charlotte's first Halloween: we watched a few spooky (but child friendly) films, Charlotte rustled around in the bowl of trick or treating candy and we put our first family pumpkin in the window (with a mango scented candle: delicious). Even though it wasn't particularly memorable, we still wanted to take some photos to mark the occasion.

Charlotte's little pumpkin outfit was purchased in last year's Christmas sale, when Charlotte was still in my belly. It's so nice to see her wearing outfits that we bought such a long time ago, even if I did get the sizing a little off!
